Statistical Modeler / Analyst

Job Summary

Quinetix, an innovative Business Intelligence firm based in Rochester, NY seeks a Statistical Modeler / Analyst to support Quinetix service offerings including market research, business analysis, statistical modeling, financial modeling and information technology.

Specifically, this individual will be an integral member of a larger project team, responsible for performing statistical modeling and segmentation in a marketing and product management environment. In addition, responsibilities will include front-end data preparation and participation in back-end results analysis and presentation of these results to the client. Individuals will be expected to directly support Quinetix's clients, strive to improve client relationships, continually update and improve their skills, and help drive our business forward.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced statistician with a fundamental understanding of how to leverage cutting edge business analytics in a dynamic business environment. Other key attributes include the ability to thrive in a team setting, provide proactive client solutions, and use strong communication skills for effective client and team interactions.

Technical Qualifications

• Candidates should be familiar with clustering and predictive modeling including decision trees, regression and neural networks
• Proficiency in SAS required
• Proficiency in SPSS preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required

Education

Minimum of a Masters degree in statistics, mathematics, or a similar field.
