Systems Developer

Job Summary:

Quinetix, an innovative Analytics and Modeling provider based in Rochester, NY seeks an experienced Systems Developer. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and servicing automated production systems including requirements gathering, database design, development and administration, query and report creation, and troubleshooting. Other responsibilities include internal infrastructure support and software tool development. The ideal candidate must be able to handle change well, utilize many different tools and technologies, handle a fast paced environment, and be able to support a growing, diverse company infrastructure. Additionally, individuals will be expected to work collaboratively in a team environment, and continually update and improve their technical and business skills.

Technical Skills Required:

• Database Design, administration, and application development using Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005
• Relational Database design experience
• Strong SQL Skills

Additional Preferred Technical Skills

• SAS
• Oracle Database Experience including PL/SQL, OLAP, DB/Instance Administrator
• Network Design and Implementation
• Data processing experience
• Experience with Web application building, client/server system design, and formal development processes
• Multi-tier system design, development, and interaction experience
• Java

Education:

Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
